How Big Is Your God?
“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Phil: 2: 10-11
How Big is your God?
We all have problems. But the problem is not your problem. The problem is that you’re letting your problem speak. You’re letting your problem bully you and tell you how things are going to be.
So if your problem is cancer, you’re letting cancer speak and say, “because you have me, cancer, you’re going to be sick. You’re going to die”. If your problem is poverty, you’re letting poverty speak: “you’re going to be broke; you’re going to struggle; this is how your life is going to be. “If your problem is mental illness you let mental illness speak and say, “You’ll never amount to anything. Don’t even bother trying.” But God is bigger.
And now what you need to do is have your problem speak correctly. The Word says “no weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue that rises against you, you will condemn.” How do you condemn a tongue that’s speaking against you? You silence it. And how do you silence it? You bring it to Jesus. Because when everyone and everything meets Jesus it has to bow and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. So when Cancer meets Jesus it has to bow. It cannot speak what it wants; that is silenced. It can’t speak sickness and death because Jesus is our Healer. Cancer has to confess that Jesus is Lord. Cancer bows and speaks “ Jesus Christ is Lord over me!”
When poverty meets Jesus it has to bow. It cannot speak that it owns your finances; it must be silenced. Because the Lord says that “the gold and the silver are mine”. So poverty owns nothing; everything belongs to Jesus. So Poverty bows and speaks,“ Jesus Christ is Lord over me!”
When mental illness meets Jesus it has to bow. It has to be silent. Because Jesus says “I have not given you the spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind. Jesus gives you a sound mind. So mental illness cannot speak what it wants; Mental Illness bows and declares,‘Jesus Christ is Lord over me!!
Silence your problems. Bring them to the feet of Jesus where they belong. Because Jesus is bigger than anything. Jesus Christ is Lord to the Glory of the Father.”
Prayer for the week:
Jesus Christ you are Lord over all. The Alpha and Omega. You know my problems and you are bigger than all of them, to the Glory of God, the Father.
Prophetic Declaration:
I declare that every tongue that rises against me this week, I will condemn, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.
